Forthcoming retirements (see note 3)
On 17 July 2020, British Airways announced that it was consulting on the immediate withdrawal of the entire remaining 744 fleet. It did not expect to operate any further 744 commercial services. The retirement of the remaining fleet commenced on 18 August 2020 with G-CIVD's departure from LHR to CDT. Aircraft already stored at GBA and TEV are presumed to have been withdrawn there. The last 744 flight took place on 11 December 2020 with G-BYGC's positioning flight from CWL to DGX.

  2. The main list remains in hours order despite the reporting date no longer being uniformly 31 December of each year. The chronological order of delivery is almost exactly the same as the alphabetical order of registration.
