Just had a wonderful week at this property. Booked two rooms for 4 nights, one for me+wife, the other for mom+sis. I was able to use two confirmed Globalist upgrades, with one confirmed into a SoCal suite and the other into a Huntington suite. Wife+I highly value 2 full bathrooms and a true separation between living room and bedroom (so I can work while she rests etc) so we thought the SoCal suite was better for us. Mom preferred having the larger tables and especially the larger patio table, so Huntington worked better for them.

Our room was ×136 overlooking the lighthouse courtyard and with a decent view towards the ocean from the patio (which was larger than the Huntington's but had a smaller table). The Huntington was ×307 overlooking the main pool area with a clear view of the ocean from the well positioned king bed.

Service was way better than expected for a Regency. Everyone was just so nice and helpful. Glob benefits were extended to both rooms without hassle, including resort fee, valet, and the $72 per room daily breakfast credit (that's post tax/tip, but still ample--better than a club lounge for sure). 2pm checkout granted by text the night before, for both rooms. Thanksgiving dinner on the lighthouse courtyard was decently well executed and the food itself was great. Watertable dinner was good on each of 2 nights we went (Zabb Thai was excellent for delivery the other night). Pedestrian bridge to beach was super convenient, and beach chairs/umbrella were readily available.

Drink service by the pool was excellent too.

Definitely agree that the property is reminiscent of the GH Kauai in layout and hallway length, but in a good way.
