Now with the second lockdown a new policy is available as of November 6:
If these new travel restrictions do not allow you to travel or if you do not wish to travel, now you can:
• Change your ticket online at no extra cost, for whenever you want with:
- no rebooking fees
- zero fare difference
• Convert your ticket into an open ticket, for 1 year from the date of your booking.
The above options are valid for all tickets issued up until 06/11/2020 and travel date between 06/11/2020 - 15/12/2020. Ticket changes can be made maximum three hours before your scheduled flight.
Quite generous with the free changes without fare difference. A new option is to convert the ticket into an open ticket. Does anyone have any more details on that? Does it allow to basically keep the ticket on stand-by and use it -without fare difference- for any future flight? (even last minute possibly!)
They are not very clear on the details. Does that mean without fare difference when using such 'open' ticket? Would it apply to upgraded tickets?
