AA loaded a LOT of changes to its winter schedule including Boeing 777s to Orlando and two new point to point routes:

- Daily Key West to Tampa and Orlando from December 17/18 with E-175
- DFW-MCO 3x daily 777-200ERs from December 2 through 16, 3x daily 777-300ERs, 1x 777-200ER from December 17 through January 4.
- MIA-LAX sees 5x daily flights consisting of 3x 772, 1x 77W, 1x A321 from December 17
- DFW-CUN up to 3x daily 789s from December 17
- DFW-LAS sees 2x daily 789s from December 17
- On December 19/20, 26/27 2x daily 77Ws on MIA-JFK, weekdays 2x daily 772.
- MIA-SJU sees a daily 772 from December 2, double-daily 772 from December 17
- BOS-EYW returns temporarily for around two weeks in the peak season
