Thx, very cool. We walked or rode down there so many times, I know exactly where that was. Across the street from a SeaCan company to the South and RCYC to the west. Mostly new car storage there now, pretty sure it is Porsche at that spot. There is some industrial business set back and I remember laughing out loud once as some guy was speeding around in the lot with a front end loader. DW asked what was so funny, and I explained, "One miscue and this guy wrecks $millions worth of new Porsches. I wouldn't drive that fast there in my car!"
Going back the the time, a friend's (my GF's BFF's boyfriend) family had their yacht at RCYC and we used to sail out of there on Summer nights back in the 80's. We would sail from the Island though, not the site across from the old Helipad.
