As far as pre-departure tests, remember that many countries do not accept rapid tests. For example, Hong Kong accepts LAMP tests but not antigen tests.
Heathrow has also setup a rapid test facility. Currently departure tests are designed (LAMP) solely for Hong Kong. They are working on Italy which requires a molecular PCR or antigen test.
