The HP Houston Galleria was new construction, along with the adjacent HR. It was not a former Amerisuites.
The Amerisuites acquisition was more than 15 years ago. I'm reasonably confident the bedding has been replaced in those HPs since then. If there are differences, I don't think you could attribute them to former Amerisuites vs new construction.
Sorry I was up drinking and typing I meant Dallas Galleria location when I put in Houston, I edited it. Only Hyatt I’ve been to in Houston is the Downtown HR which was nice.
Whatever mattresses these locations use all have hurt my back uniformly, so I’m not sure if it’s chain wide with Hyatt Places, but that’s been the case for me. Whereas every Hyatt House’s mattress has given us a comfortable restful sleep.
