I'm in a similar situation by the end of next week.

I booked a stay in NYC for two nights ending on Saturday. Saturday evening I plan to stay in Philadelphia for 2 nights. There's a slight chance that I may be able to head to Philadelphia late Friday night and want to get a one-night reservation at the same hotel in Philly.

My concern is that I plan to allow a guest to stay in the room prior to my arrival. I'm just wondering if there will be any "problems" with getting credit for the overlapping night.
