BUT Cherry St. makes no sense. Our condo was between Cherry and Parliament, which is the far East end of Toronto. Maybe worked for the Scarborough crowd, but even by '92-95, a limo from YYZ to downtown was still pretty quick and not too expensive. There was enough competition that they fell all over themselves to offer discounts for pre booking or return pick up.
Helicopter followed by another taxi/limo might cut 15-20 minutes off the trip to University, but only if it meant direct terminal access and the car was waiting. Anyone know where the Helipad was? Cherry isn't that long and a quick search didn't help.
