i guess i'm more surprised they would have such robust data down to calls to have a light or a/c fixed! i mean given it sometimes takes me a dozen calls and emails to get one folio from the milan westin! haha. but it does explain how i checked in to the ritz carlton barcelona for the first time and they welcomed me back and were astonished how many times i'd stayed with them (which is false, i had previously stayed many times at the W) but no matter it works to my advantage!
similarly with the four seasons i lived at the one in beverly hills for 3 months for work once and when i was in sydney on holiday the ceiling above the bathtub caved in but it happens and i ended up keeping the room because it had a perfect view and the hotel was sold out so they just cut back what they could to be safe but aside from not being able to use the tub, it was fine. i guess from those two experiences i am flagged at something with them because when i do stay at a four seasons i am treated like a king even though i typically book the cheapest rooms! so, i guess my point being i am happy for these systems like i am with the BA CIV scores.
helps that i'm not an obnoxious pri*k either. well, most of the time!
