very true....i was at the civil aviation ministry again today giving a legal opinion on a totally unrelated matter....when i was leaving i asked one of the secretaries i was meeting with about the sixth freedom tussle with lufthansa & other european airlines....he proudly said that india was not going to bow down to foreign airlines & they must bow down to india's demands....i asked when all this bowing was likely to come to a conclusion since the passengers were the ones who were losing out....he reply was that it is just tough luck for the passengers & that they were ready to wait for as long as it takes....

unfortunately i don't see this coming to an end anytime soon....
