I'm afraid I haven't followed the situation of quarantines in US, so I certainly cannot give definitive answers, but it is worth to remember that the current regulations may no longer apply in December since the trends in case numbers have been on rise in so many places that it wouldn't surprise if some authority enacted stricter measures to battle with the pandemic.
