Very anticlimactic arrival in CCU. First a thermo camera check, someone collected the SR form and stamped the boarding pass. Immigration did their usual and then after you passed the non existing customs check post baggage claim someone in a hazmat suit wanted to see my test report. Then a lady screamed my details to a guy at a terminal to look up if I had filed online. After he said yes I was let go and was out the door. Totally stunned how quick everything went. I guess it helps to be prepared. This morning people didn't know they had to register for transit with the UK authorities. In LHR people didn't have a print out of the test. In CCU people didn't have the health form filled out, which was handed out in the aircraft to make double sure. One OCI lady at the counter next to me hadn't filled out her immigration form and loudly complained that never had to do this(????).
