However, to clarify the bolded point, while the REQUEST can be made any time, it can only CLEAR at your window. It just means you won't have to set a 3am alarm to upgrade a flight from Asia, or risk others beating you to it. And it means those upgrades will clear by cabin, status, fare class, instead of in the order of whoever clicks first. I still like it, but you're not getting a confirmed upgrade on Flex K at T-365.
