Alternatively, suppose I make my iPhone a wifi hotspot, link to my laptop, and try to use zoom that way if my wifi goes down. Does this work in an emergency? Does it use a lot of my icellular data plan?
I used zoom on my iPhone 8 Plus OFTEN, as in about 1-3 hours a day. I don’t always use transmit video, but certainly for internet (voip) audio, for viewing others, for viewing others content, or the main shared content. I’ll often use and iPad while remote for the main content, and secondarily login with my iPhone 8 Plus for audio channel and viewing the other participants video feeds. So yeah, works fine, works great,
Background images you may have setup on one device do NOT simply transfer to another device, so if you have a background setup on a computer, or iPad, you’re going to have to share that same image with the iPhone directly and then set it as your background.
it’s a good product development idea though, I’ll mention it to them next week. ;-)
