There's your problem. Roll back the updates. Microsoft's already said that updates are for beta testers. We blocked updates at our office and just firewall/IDS the hell out of everything. Pretty stable with the only issues coming up with user applications.
That doesn't make sense...got a link? I mean, unless you set it to receive beta updates.

My two laptops (one work, one personal) receive automatic updates and I've never had issues.
