While Copa is nobody's favorite airline on this forum, for those of us living in Latin America this is great news. Their mediocre biz class still beats economy when you're in a last minute pickle.

There is always wide open availability in "J" on United Mileageplus, Avianca Lifemiles, Aeromexico and Airfrance all sell Copa award space. Hopefully stays that way. Crossing my fingers their 737-max comes back in service next year with layflat biz class.

p.s. I've seen them selling space to some other cities in Brazil (such as Manaus in late 2020, not sure if it covered all the cities or if that list is definitive)
