Has anybody taken Uber from SDU? Curious about prices and pickup. I booked the Grand Hyatt, so I'm bracing myself already for a bit of a journey.
I used Uber from SDU. They have a kind of rank at SDU which is located just outside the Bossa Nova shopping mall (connected to the airport).
Except a very long ride (like 45 minutes) to the Grand Hyatt because it is located in Barra da Tijuca, a nice beach but far from everything (only shopping malls around).
Prices should be like 15USD.
By the way, Uber is by far the best way to get around Rio, very cheap, everywhere, reliable and safe. Sometimes it is almost the same price as the subway, and cheaper if you are 2 or more.
