My biggest complaint is that CLEAR and pre-check hours are too limited at IAH which often hits me arriving early from an overnight flight or departing at night. Doubt that has gotten better with the reduced volume of travelers.
The major benefit to CLEAR and pre-check is predictability. It loses a lot of value when you roll the dice on 5 minutes vs. 20+ minutes, not to mention the aggravation of the liquids and electronics nonsense.
