I got a phone call today from a 212 number; the voice mail sounded official enough and said I was being invited to get a Centurion card. If true, I am pretty excited and now need to decide if it will really be worth the initiation and annual fees (which was previously just an academic exercise for me). I guess I'll call them back tomorrow, but I've become suspicious/paranoid about scam offers. Why wouldn't they have sent me a secure message on the website?
For those who have gotten invitations recently, is the random call from a 212 number the way you were notified as well?
