did I mention about finding and fetching fresca at a target? I’ve shared your insights about coke not being able to produce the fresca and people know that this is info from “teddy bear on flyertalk” even though your real name is teddybear99!!
Glad you were able to find Fresca, but as I said before, to me the taste has changed since I used to drink it in the 70's as it was my grandfather's favorite drink. It was readily available as he would take care of my brother and me after school until my parents came home. The change of taste could be that instead of using real sugar to sweeten the soda, they now use high fructose corn syrup as it is cheaper to do so. I also believe high fructose corn syrup is why we have way more diabetics in this country than back then as our bodies don't process it very well. I will drink sodas made using real sugar when I can get them, which is very rarely during this pandemic.

Actually that is not my name, but my handle. My wife calls me her big teddy bear as we love to cuddle. My usual handle was taken by someone when I joined Flyertalk, so I use this as my secondary handle on websites, blogs and boards like this.

I’ve run into problems with my wife’s cooking with similar things. You don’t want go criticize, but you don’t want them to waste their effort on something that’s not right.

For those who haven't eaten Filipino food, it tends to either be salty or sweet. Some things I like that way as mentioned before the sweet sauce of spaghetti Filipino style. The beef was mixed with sliced onions which were sautéed, but not very soft. I don't like onions that much so I only had a few pieces of the beef. My wife suggested to rinse the beef to get rid of some of the saltiness, but being the cook I am, it would not have helped.

I do like how you like to make up different funny names for some of the foods you are now making for your family based on recipes or ideas here.
