Post-swim meal: Ghost pepper salsa over some leftover beans and rice from a new Jamaican place I found up here.
We made a salsa yesterday out of my friend's home-grown tomatoes and peppers - jalapenos that had turned red on the plant. Not ghost pepper hot, but I was tearing up a little bit during the taste test, and I can handle pretty spicy food. It's not quite as bad when eaten with food though.
Grilled jalapenos, grilled poblanos, tomatoes, onion, tomatillos, garlic, lime juice, salt. We'll be eating it for the next couple days.
