But they seem to make different demands on every application. Ie, I've not gotten the CD option in two attempts, while other people in between my attempts got it. So there's no one thing they ask from everyone, so until you try, you don't know what if anything they'll ask of you.

One thing they've recurrently complained about me is that they don't see enough of a business credit history with other business cards. But that's because they're checking a business credit bureau which doesn't seem to show my Amex business cards or my Chase business cards or several other banks.
If they can't see other business cards like amex/citi I think I'll fall victim to the same fate as you. While I do have a personal checking account with them for a few years it's not a business account; so, it probably won't help and it'll be a waste pull. Do you think parking some extra cash in my checking account would help or do I need a business checking/savings/CD?

The things we do to fall back into the grace of Chase is amazing.
