So, as a tourist, you can enter the UAE under the waiver program if you have completed a PCR test in the country with which your XYZ>DXB flight departed. Connecting flights where you need to go "landside" at the mid point will invalidate your PCR e.g. FRA-AMS-DXB with an overnight in AMS will mean your FRA test is a dud and you need a new one in AMS?

Can you still fly to DXB with the now invalid test, then opt to be retested under the UAE system?

If you're able to stay airside, the PCR test from your country of origin will remain valid? Does this cover airside hotels?

What are the general turn-around times for PCR tests? Will EK give you a free pass to the next flight if your tests are delayed?

If you have to step landside for another PCR test, this negates any saving that many of the airlines have right now.
I am hoping that the FRA airport PCR test is okay, as I paid money for that this morning!! If not, Wednesday is going to be interesting for the wrong reasons...
