They were planning 2 benefits/month but when the inter-island quarantine was reinstated, everything was put on hold. The initial opening was Brother Nolan followed by Mark Yamanaka and then Blayne Asing. A large percentage of the musicians that perform at Kahilu live on Oahu and Maui. The season is completely shot for the theatre and they are doing their best to remain afloat. My personal favorite was the Annual Slack Key Guitar and Ukulele Festival that is held in November - not this year.

Along the same lines, Merriman's Waimea just opened to modified outdoor dining this week. Merrimans at least has a local clientele which may help. I am not sure CanoeHouse can sustain as it is a special occasion restaurant and relies on hotel guests but I am going to remain optimistic.
