Come on, you know OTAs aren't the most transparent when it comes to fare rules. Are you suggesting that SK didn't update the far rules, but is handling tickets purchased with them directly as exceptions?
We are not talking about OTA's, a massive generalization.
We are talking about Expedia. While I strongly recommend against using these sorts of third-party vendors even in normal times, even more so during the pandemic, the fact is that the Expedia Terms are easily available and there is a link to them right next to the checkbox which the passenger must check before proceeding to payment.
Not suggesting that one has to read every syllable, but when it comes to fees, it seems prudent to check them or be willing to suffer the consequences.
