I'm gutted, because this is the only chance I can see for the foreseeible to travel FIRST in an A380. And the 777 just doesn't do it for me (my body still feels awful afterwards due to fast cabin air recirculation and low humidity). I know we are talking months away, and things can still change, BUT I've been reseated in a two-row first cabin. From what I can tell, no BA777 has such a cabin, and it is only the 787-9 and -10 that has this.
Have BA just put in a holding cabin of minimum seats while they finalise what aircraft will be used?
Is there any chance that the A380 fleet will be back by then?
