Thanks for starting this thread Scotflyer80
It was getting messy with so many people starting threads for cancellations/route changes which were just the usual winter adjustments

At the risk of stating the obvious, this represents BA's "best case scenario" or even above BA's best case scenario but what they are already certain that they can cancel. I think that the odds that this is the final intercontinental programme for the winter season are anywhere between very low and zero, but this gives an interesting indication of what is already so weak that it can be sacrificed several months ahead of time.

looks like my suspicions of SAN going to 5x weekly yesterday were correct. They are ditching the Tuesday and Saturday flights, so at least if I have to travel on those days, I can route via PHX as LAX is out with no puddle jump flights down to SAN.

Yeh, the only thing I have noted is my December departure came forward 5 minutes from 9pm to 8.55pm. Asides from that it seems they'll be operating the normal schedule. They haven't operated since April on the route, except from cargo and a random oneoff in the middle of July which was selling at 2.2k USD for an economy seat despite being near to empty. I'd hazard a guess they'll drop most of Sep, but if the Heathrow testing system comes in and rules are relaxed slightly then it may flow more smoothly from Oct onwards. Simple reality is nobody really knows.
Here's hoping...
