It really depends on how quickly this virus subsides...
This makes sense, they will always keep the shorter west coast flight that other flights can connect to. But for the OP, assuming they fly from the east coast, they wanna gamble on the wide body flight from DFW, and worst case they will be rebooked via LAX/PHX.
