Basically the terms and conditions are such that, practically speaking, all they're promising is an economy flight back to your home country and nothing else.
The biggest advantage of this PR stunt is that you can use it to satisfy the beaurocratic requirement of having a covid-related insurance (when entering UAE or elsewhere). You won't actually get paid by the insurance, but it will check the box
Again, you are wrong. Lots of people have needed hospitalisation for Covid-19 - surely you know this? Boris Johnson for one example was in hospital for 7 days. Hospitals in Italy and Spain were full - as are some hospitals now in the US.
The "
Testing costs not covered" is for people that have tests and find they don't have the virus.
