Then UA needs to hurry up and change their on-board announcements again. They continue to say, "eating, drinking and/or medical condition". Had it on all flights this week including yesterday. And I see a couple of people every single time it's said lower their mask.

Consistency or timeliness of onboard announcements has never been a strong suit of UA. In my dozen flights since all this started I don't think I've heard the same information from flight to flight.
And I'd be willing to bet that 6 months after the masks become unnecessary (whether that be by vaccine, natural ebb, or we just collectively throw our hands up and give up) we'll still be hearing occasional announcements about mask use from crews that are still in the pattern.
