Consistency or timeliness of onboard announcements has never been a strong suit of UA. In my dozen flights since all this started I don't think I've heard the same information from flight to flight.

And I'd be willing to bet that 6 months after the masks become unnecessary (whether that be by vaccine, natural ebb, or we just collectively throw our hands up and give up) we'll still be hearing occasional announcements about mask use from crews that are still in the pattern.
