I can confirm that the air-con at ibis Styles Warszawa Centrum is switched off when you open the window. Makes sense. But it doesn't explain why it stops even with the window closed.
aybe because the system is really basic? You can't choose the temperature. There are just some blue meaningless icons on the panel.
