Please can a RTW fare expert help me? I've called Trailfinders, they have offered me 3 different options for my proposed itinerary : Departing 8 Dec 20
LON BA SCL QF AKL QF BNE YY SIN YY LON.
1) A OW RTW fare of circa £2600 making use of any OW carrier and routing within reason.
2) A Global Explorer fare of circa £2300 presumably BA/QF/CX.
3) A QF Special Fare of £1900 using BA to SCL and restricted to QF for the rest of the journey.
Is my above understanding correct? Does anybody know the seasonality of the fares? When does Shoulder season end and High season begin? Can the Special Fare be booked directly with Qantas? Any assistance or other creative ideas gratefully received!
