I was hoping mine would come back last week but still haven't heard back.
Had 3 itineraries with SIA.
- June 3 one way business class award LAX - SIN
- June 8 - 11 round trip economy class paid SIN - REP
- June 12 one way business class award SIN - SFO
Submitted my online refund request on April 25 for all 3 itineraries. Got auto reply confirmation email.
They email me on May 18 stating that all my flights have been cancelled and that I do not need to do anything if I have already submitted my refund request.
Still waiting as of today. I'm seeing some people like OptionsCLE and vsepr already get their refunds back. Wonder what is going on.
Call KrisFlyer to book a Business Class redemption flights at a date few weeks from now. Miles required for the destination must be more than what you have in your account now. Ask them to give you a longer deadline and you request them to expedite the refund by giving them the cancelled booking's PNR because you need the miles urgently. Abit of hard work but it helps.
