From all i have read Alaskans are out in full force this summer. They always were over July 4th weekend anyway.
You seriously won't experience Alaska just see nice scenery all the time. But it's your decision. It's a common rookie mistake for first time visitors to Alaska.
I hope you know the strict entry requirements in place now. A negative COVID19 test within 72 hours of arrival or mandatory quarantine.
Good to know about the extra people on the road would have had no idea. Yes we are aware and should have no issues as have been keeping to ourselves as mostly as possible so to speak, we already have out tests scheduled and will do another two days later since we have about 25 hrs travel time with layovers and can't seem to figure out from when the 72 hrs apply.
