So I finally received my refund. My original refund request was sent 17th March, and I didnt receive a refund confirmation email until 20th April. Yesterday the same refund email arrived and I have received the refund today. I am very disappointed, as I waited 28+ days for nothing. Their twitter advisors keep avoiding answering my question about why it was never processed in the first place, and won't admit to their mistake.
