I'm having to transit via Amsterdam. I called the Dutch Foreign Ministry contact line, and they gave me the number for the AMS Airport Police, who were very clear and precise in the answers they gave about transiting. Perhaps calling the French Airport Police/Border police at the Airport would be a better source of information. Just my two cents.
