Well, at least as of a few months ago connections on separate tickets on LCCs out of T4 required a landside connection, aka entering the country. Even though there is an airside bus connection, you weren't allowed to take it unless it was on a single ticket with a participating carrier.
Very annoying.
So I would be careful with connections that include moving between T1/2/3 and T4
