I am 72 years old. I took the KLM flight from LAX to Amsterdam on May 4th around noon. They not only assigned a girl to sit next to me and to share a single armrest, but an announcement on the loudspeaker said we were obligated to use the assigned seats. Luckily, the girl spotted an empty row of 3 seats further forward, and moved without permission, so I had all 3 seats for myself despite the order. That was a 10 1/2 hour flight. .
