My HON status expired 29th of February - at the same time the entire airline collapsed. Prefect timing.
However, I had planned to go straight back up, as I only needed 190k in 2020.
Originally, this would have happened by August. Everything was already ticketed. (I did get my money back though as my travel agent immediately refunded everything before LH noticed they were running out of cash).
I guess I can forget about all of this now. No chance to collect 190k by 31.12.
I doubt LH have cases like mine on their radar. What a shame after 13 years of HON status.
