OK So I totally screwed myself on this one.

Booked tickets in early January from SFO-AUA through PTY. Way before this pandemic began. Travel is for October.

I screwed myself by booking through cheapo air dot com. They simply had more flexible payment options.

They've [Copa] totally cancelled my reservation and are not actually even operating flights to SFO on the dates I need.

Now Cheapo wants $4000 to fly from LAX instead.

Any ideas for any recourse on this?

Note they were biz class (but non-refundable) tickets.
