If you take the voucher then you won't lose anything - everything will be on the voucher including the avios for the UuA.
If you cancel then you will get back a small amount of taxes & fees. The UuA itself should be refunded, albeit I think you have to pay a £35 fee.
Under the circumstances where your flight isn't cancelled I think either the rebook or voucher options under book with confidence are far more preferable than just cancelling.
Thank you for the reply. I guess since BA11 and BA15 are so close, I would not get the money back anyway if they move me to BA15. My travel insurance will pay me back all the money, but I need to cancel BA ticket first and get back as much money as possible before insurance pays the rest. Good to know I can claim back the Avios also

And a voucher is not counted as «money» so I rather claim from insurance instead of taking a voucher.
