I called Emirates yesterday as I have a multi-city flight for mid-May, part of which has already been cancelled by Emirates and the remaining part is almost certain to be cancelled. What the CS agent said was interesting (to me at least).

Option 1: Leave the ticket 'open'. It will remain a pseudo-ticket that I can rebook/reschedule in the future using the same destinations (I'm not sure about the time limit for this);

Option 2: Request a refund. This will cost me 200 GBP in cancellation fees as the original tickets were Economy Saver tickets. This is very disappointing to me;

Option 3: Request a voucher. This will provide me with a credit of the full amount of the ticket price, valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue of the voucher, and extendable for another 12 months thereafter.

I'll probably end up taking the voucher option as it's the one in which I don't lost money and gives me some flexibility in the future. The CS agent also said that I can wait until the end of May as my original flights were in mid-May before I decide what to do.
