Yes from the looks of it UK seems to be heading to a more serious situation and if the flights are cancelled my problem is Air India cancels it on their own and re deposits expired miles into the account itself. Am I insane to think they are capable of it. Also most likely they will not let us book for next summer. Would an email work if any. I will try them on call and see but given the policy for May is not yet decided I am not sure how the agents can help me rather than ask me to wait.
