You first pan fry the steak first and cook the outside up........... then put in an over for 2 hours at 350F
2 hours (assuming its international widebody service) would include:
- hypothetical (boarding pass) boarding time of 40 mins
- 20 mins of taxiing, safety video etc etc
- 30 mins of going to cruising altitude
- 10 mins to start the drink/nut service
- 20 mins to start and complete appetizer
That should work. If its not hockey puck enough try adding a delay of 30 mins due to WX, MX or pure air traffic/taxi congestion
