Speculation was from airliners.net is they weren't big enough.

There's a lot of places I wanted to go visit (some with AS miles) that I won't be able to now. And never got to fly the Saab 2000.

And what of DUT? This was a wetlease by AS, not sure if it ever got resolved after the overrun last fall.

Concerned about the communities too... lots of nice folks I've met over the years.

Wonder how 8E is doing?
