I tried to go to the refunds website to see if I can get one and it says I have to call in. I can cancel the flight from the confirmation page but it gives me a voucher which does not work for me. My plan is to call AA some time this week to ask for a refund.
I had the same thing -- a AAward flight this weekend on RJ that disappeared. I'm not surprised that it is cancelled, since the airline is not flying, but there was no notice and my reservation no longer shows. Since RJ is completely shutdown, my suspicion is that those refunded miles won't be available until RJ reopens.
