The most important question I have for you is how long do you have to wait for the food to arrive when you request in-room dining? My definition of superior service is anything arriving within 20 minutes of placing a food order is perfect
(this also applies for breakfast.)
If Rosewood can ensure 20 minutes food delivery when placing an order then I may shift loyalty to Rosewood (for some unknown reason PH can not maintain this standard.)
You would have to try it and see for yourself. Honestly, I never timed them but I know room service breakfast came at 10am on the dot. The butler came and setup everything. Items were plentiful and high quality. The room service I ordered was a combination of Nanbei Chinese (direct from outlet menu) and Thai favorites. I was more lenient since they have to get the dishes from 2 places and 20 mins would be unrealistic on my side.
