I think you are better off requesting a travel voucher, that way you can avoid the penalty fees. Only Hong Kong is on free cancellations list. Are you just transiting through DOH and HKG or planning to stop over? I think in your case you are much better contacting customer services for info.

Where can one find the list of destinations that can be cancelled for free please?
To get the voucher do I first cancel (which still shows a fee) or is it sufficient to send the form filled and they will cancel flight reservation in their systems?
