It is what Flybe use to do overnight, move planes empty to park overnight at less cost, eg Southampton to Doncaster, then fly planes back to Southampton from Doncaster for the 7am first flights out to eg Amsterdam. I am sure BA will similarly be trying to save $1000's by using cheaper parking
Given the somewhat exceptional status quo would LHR not waive some of the parking fees to BA? Failing that Purple Parking are doing some good meet 'n' greet offers at the moment.
